Dua For Success In Everything In Life & Hereafter
There are several dua in hadith for success in various aspects of life like work, business, and religion.
However, the following Dua is my favorite because it covers everything in this life and the afterlife.

Here’s the Arabic text of this dua.
اَللّٰهمّ اَحسِنْ عَاقِبَتَنَا فِي الأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا، وَأجِرْنَا مِنْ خِزْيِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الآخِرَةِ
Transliteration
Allahumma Ahsin Aaqibatana Fil Umoori Kulliha Wa Ajirna Min Khizyid Dunya Wa Azabil Aakhirah
English Translation
“O Allah! Help us successfully complete all our matters and protect us from the humiliation of your punishment in this world and the hereafter.”

Is Dua Enough For Success In Life And Afterlife?
Of course not.
We make Dua for success because we know nothing can happen without Allah’s will.
However, we also know that Allah has commanded us to adopt the right strategy to achieve our goals.
So whether you’re looking for success in exams, business, relationships, job interviews, or any other aspect of life, you must prepare well and give it your best.
The same goes for success in the afterlife. If you want to attain Allah’s pleasure and Jannah, you must strive in His path, deal with hardships, and stay consistent in His obedience.
With sincere efforts and Dua, insha Allah, success will be your fate.
What Is The Meaning Of Success For A Muslim?
For a Muslim, the ultimate success is to live this life in accordance with Allah’s commands and following the Sunnah of Rasoolullah ﷺ.
If a Muslim has no worldly possessions but he leaves this world as an obedient servant of Allah, he is successful insha Allah.
But if a person has all the wealth, property, and worldly possessions but doesn’t have eeman or has lived a life of sin and disobedience of Allah SWT, he is unsuccessful.
Allah SWT says in the Quran that the worldly life is a temporary game. Real success is to enter Jannah and escape hellfire.
May Allah SWT make us all successful in this world and grant us a place in Jannah.
