Whoever spends Shab e Qadr (also called Laylatul Qadr) worshipping Allah SWT will be rewarded for 1000+ months of worship. This night is so important and blessed that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ the last ten days of Ramadan in Itikaaf to search for the Night of Power (Lailatul Qadr).

Shab e Qadr (Laylatul Qadr) Ki Dua From Hadith
The most credible dua of Laylatul Qadr (Shab e Qadr) is mentioned in a Hadith of Rasoolullah ﷺ. Here’s the Arabic text of the Hadith.
It is narrated by the mother of the believers, Syeda Aisha رضي الله عنها (source)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّى
Transliteration
Allahumma Innaka Afuwwun Tuhibbul Afwa Fa’fu Anni
Urdu/Hindi Translation
Dua e Shab e Qadr ka Urdu aur Hindi tarjuma ye hai.
Aay Allah Aap Bohat Muaaf Farmanay Walay Hain, Muaaf Karne Ko Pasand Farmatay Hain, Bas Mujhay Muaaf Farma Dijiye
English Translation
O Allah! You’re the most forgiving, You love forgiving, so forgive me.
Shab e Qadr Ka Khaas Wazifa
Apart from the Dua we’ve mentioned above, there’s another Dua in hadith that scholars highly recommend people read in Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Power).
It is the same dua that Rasoolullah ﷺ used to pray on the Day of Arafah.
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration
La Ilaha Illallah, Wah Dahu La Shareeka Lah, Lahul Mulku, Walahul Hamdu, Wa Hua Ala Kulli Shaee In Qadeer
Urdu/Hindi Translation
Allah Kay Siwa Koi Khuda Nahi, Woh Akela Hai Uska Koi Shareek Nahi, Usi Ke Paas Mulk (Iqtidar), Usi Ke Loye Tamam Tareefay Hain, Aur Woh Har Zheez Par Qudrat Rakhta Hai.
English Translation
There is No God But Allah Alone, who has no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the raise, and He is able to do all things

Is Raat Main Dua Mangnay Ka Tarika
Shab e Qadr is the night of dua and supplication. So, the best thing you can do is to spend every odd night (taaq raat) of Ramada’s third ashra praising Allah SWT through Zikr and making Dua for as long as possible.
Because you never know which Taaq Raat is the real Shab e Qadr.
Here’s a suggested timetable to follow during this night. But remember, you can do any form of worship you want. This is just a suggestion.
- Perform 6 Rakat Nafil Awwabeen after Maghrib prayers.
- Read 2 rakat Salatul Tauba and ask Allah for forgiveness.
- Read 2 Rakat Salatul Hajat and ask Allah SWT for all the blessings for this night.
- Give some charity
- Then after Isha prayers and Taraweeh, rest and refresh yourself.
- Then spend the rest of the night praying Tahajjud and reciting the holy Quran.
- Then keep the last 2 hours of the night for Dua. Frequently read the Dua and Wazifa of Shab e Qadr we have described in this article.
- Read Durood Sharif before dua to increase its chances of acceptance.
