Can You Smoke While Fasting In Islam?

No, as a Muslim, you’re not allowed to smoke cigarettes while fasting. If you smoke while fasting, it will immediately break your fast.

But that’s not all.

Smoking not only breaks your fast but you’re also required to make up for it with a Qaza fast after Ramadan and fulfill the penalty of 60 consecutive fasts.

If you you leave even one fast while keeping the 60 consecutive fasts, you’ll have to start from zero.

So, no matter what happens, do not smoke while you’re fasting. It’s not good for your health and it’s even worse for your religion.
