Jumma Ki Namaz Ka Tarika In Urdu/Hindi
Jumma ki namaz ka tarika bohat asan hai. Ye bilkul aam namazo ki tarha parhi jati hai. Yani pehle Wazu karengay Us ke baad Namaz Parhengay.
Is liye, jab Imam ke peechay Jumma parhengay to bas usko follow karna hoga.
Jumma Ki Namaz Ka Time
Jumma ki namaz ka time Zuhr ke waqt hota hai. Yani Jumma ke din Zuhr ki namaz ki jaga Jumma ki namaz parhi jati hai.
Is Azan ka jawab bhi dena chahye aur iske baad Azan Ki Dua bhi parhna chahye.
Jumma ki pehli Azan ke baad koi dusra dunyavi kaam karna jaiz nahi. Foran masjid ki taraf ana chahye aur 4 Sunnat Moakkada parhna chahye.
Jumma Ki Dusri Azan
Ye Azan logo ko Khutbay ke liye mutawaajay karnay ke liye hoti hai.
Is Azan ka jawab nahi dia jaega aur na hi iske baad Azan ki dua parhi jaegi.
Khutba e Jumma
Jumma ki namaz ka aik aham hissa uska Khutba hota hai. Khutba e Jumma ka sunna wajib hai. Agar koi shakhs itni dair se Jummah ki namaz ke liye masjid pohnchay ke Khutba shuru ho chuka ho to usko Jummay ki asli fazilat hasil nahi hogi.
Is liye, agar namaz e Jumma ki fazilat hasil karni hai aur pura sawab chahye to Khutbah shuru honay se pehle masjid pohnch jae aur pura khutba sunay.
Khutba e Juma ke 2 hissay hotay hain aur ye Arabic main dena wajib hai.
Agar koi shakhs us waqt masjid pohnchay jab Khutba shuru ho chuka ho, to Jumay se pehle ki 4 Sunnat nahi parhna chahye. Balkay khamoshi se Khutbah sunay aur Sunnatain Jumay ki Jamat ke baad ada karain.
Jumma Ki Namaz Ki Rakat
Jummah ki namaz ki Rakat ki tafseel ye hai. (Source)
- 4 Sunnat (mo’akkada) Jumma ke Farz se pehle
- 2 Farz Jumma (Jamat ke sath Imam ke peechay)
- 4 Sunnat (mo’akkada) Jumma ke Farz ke baad
- 2 Sunnat (ghari mo’akkada)
Yani Namaz e Juma main total 12 Rakat hoti hain. Lekin Agar koi sirf Farz aur Sunnat e Moakkada bhi parh lay to kafi hai.
Agar dair se masjid pohnchay aur Khutba shuru ho chuka ho to phir Jumay se pehle wali 4 Sunnat jamat ke baad akhir main ada kar lain.
Namaz e Juma Ki Niyat
Jumay ki Namaz ki niyat bohat asan hai. Niyat karengay ke “Aay Allah main apki riza ke liye Namaz e Juma ke 2 Farz parhnay ki niyat karta hu, Imam ke peechay”
Dil main ye irada karna kafi hai zaban se kehna zaruri nahi.
Here’s a recording Jummah Prayers from Masjid Al-Haram.
How To Pray Jumma – Step By Step In English
The method of Jummah prayers is pretty straightforward. It is offered the same way as any other Namaz.
Since Jumma can only be offered in a congregation, you only need to follow the Imam. The rest of the prayer is the same as any other Namaz.
The only differences in Jummah prayers are
- Jummah prayers can only be offered in a congregation (jamat). If someone misses Jummah prayers, they must offer Zuhr prayers instead.
- Jummah prayers include a sermon, listening to which is mandatory, as it is a part of Friady prayers.
Let me explain the other aspects of Jummah namaz.
Time Of Jummah Prayers
The time of Jummah prayers is the same as Zuhr namaz. So, on Fridays, you will offer Jummah prayers instead of Zuhr.
First Azan Of Jummah
There are 2 Azans for Jummah prayers. The first Azan is a call for prayers so that everyone comes to the mosque. Anyone who listens to the first Jummah Azan must leave all worldly matters and go to the mosque, and offer 4 Rakat Sunnahs.
You will also give the Sunnah response to the Azan and read the Azan Dua.
Second Jummah Azan
The second Azan of Jummah is said before Jummah Khutbah (sermon). You will not respond to this Azan’s words and will not read the Azan Dua after it.
Friday Jummah Sermon
Friday sermon is a vital part of the Jummah Prayers and listening to it is Wajib (mandatory). If someone reaches the mosque so late that the sermon has already started or finished, they can still offer Jummah prayers but their reward will be significantly reduced.
The Friday Sermon is a two-part Khutbah in Arabic. It is separate from the lecture Imams give before Jummah in their own language. Scholars say Jummah Khutbah must be delivered in Arabic to be valid.
Total Rakat In Jummah Namaz
The Jummah Prayers consist of 12 Rakat in total. Here are the details.
- 4 Sunnahs Moakkada (essential)
- 2 Fardh
- 4 Sunnahs Moakkada (essential)
- 2 Sunnahs Ghair Moa (nonessential)
It is immensely rewarding to offer all these 12 Rakat. However, it is ok if someone offers Sunnah Moakkada and Fardh Rakat only.
How Many Sunnah Rakat Before Jummah
Before Jummah namaz, you must offer 4 Rakat Sunnah Moakkada. These are important Sunnah, and offering them before Jummah is more rewarding.
However, if you reach the mosque during the Khurbah, do not offer these Sunnahs. Instead, listen to the Khutbah silently and then offer these Sunnahs after offering Jummah Namaz.
How Many Rakat After Jummah Prayers
After Jummah Prayers, you need to offer 4 Rakat Sunnahs Moakkada and 2 Rakat Ghair Moakkada.
Jummah Prayers Niyat
The Niyat (intention) of Jummah Prayers is straightforward.
“O Allah, I intend to offer 2 Rakat Farz of Jummah Prayers in a congregation to seek your pleasure”
Keeping this intention in your heart is enough, and it isn’t necessary to say it aloud.
