Wazu (also spelled as Wuzu and Wudu) is the act of washing and purifying your body before worshipping Allah SWT in any form. For example, Muslims are required to do Wudu before performing Jummah prayers, touching the Holy Quran, performing Tawaf of the Holy Kaaba, offering Namaz e Janaza, and various other acts of worship.

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrates that Rasoolullah ﷺ said

O Abu Hurayrah! When you [intend to] make wudu, then say ‘Bismillahi wal hamdulillah’, for the guarding angels will continue writing rewards until you break that wudu. (Source)

Wazu Karne Ke Darmiyan Ki Dua | Read This During Wudu

You will find many different Wudu duas on the internet. However, only the following Wazu Dua is mentioned in hadith and considered authentic. All others have been prescribed by scholars and it is fine to read them as long as you don’t consider it a Sunnah.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِي رِزْقِي

English Translation

“O Allah! forgive my sins, and widen my home, and give barakah in my rizq”

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ المُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Transliteration

“Asshhadu Alla Ilaaha Ilallahu Wahdahu La Shareeka Lahu Wa Asshhadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu Wa Rasooluh”

“Allahumma Ja’alni Minat Tawwaabeen, Waj’alni Minal Muta Tawh’hireen”

English Translation

Here’s the English translation of the Dua after Wudu.

“I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone, there are no partners for Him. And I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.”

“O Allah! Make me among the repentant, and make me among those who purify themselves.”

Wazu ke baad ki dua ka Urdu/Hindi tarjuma ye hai

“Main gawahi deta hu ke Allah ke siwa koi Ibadat ke laiq nahi, Jo akela hai aur uska koi shareek nahi. Aur main gawahi deta hu ke Muhammad ﷺ Allah ke banday aur Rasool hain”

“Aay Allah mujhe bohat ziada tauba karne walo main se bana aur mujhe apne ap ko paak rakhne walo main se bana”

Wazu Ke Baad Ki Dua Ki Fazilat Aur Benefits

Umar Ibn ul Khattab رضي الله عنه narrates that Rasoolullah ﷺ said:

‘Whoever performs Wudu, making Wudu well, then says: (Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan-abduhu wa rasuluhu, Allahummajalni minat tawwabin, waj’alni minal mutatahhirin) ‘I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone, there are no partners for Him. And I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah! Make me among the repentant, and make me among those who purify themselves.’ Then eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, that may enter by whichever of them wishes.” (Source)

Yani Rasoolullah ﷺ ne farmaya ke jo shaks wuzu karay aur achi tarha karay, aur phir kahay (Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan-abduhu wa rasuluhu, Allahummajalni minat tawwabin, waj’alni minal mutatahhirin) ‘

To uske liye Jannat ke 8 darwazay khol diye jatay hain, jis darwazay se chahay dakhil ho jae.
