What Is The Dua For Fasting Outside Of Ramadan?
Here’s the Arabic dua for fasting in a month other than Ramadan.
اللهم إني نويتُ صومَ غدٍ لوجهكَ فتقبلْه مني
Transliteration
Here’s how to pronounce this dua
Allahumma Inni Nawaeetu Saooma Ghadin Li Wajhika Fa Tabbalhu Minni
English Translation
Here’s the English meaning of the dua before fasting other than Ramadan
“O Allah! I intend to fast tomorrow for you, so accept it from me.”
Urdu Translation
Nafli rozay ki niyat ka Urdu tarjuma ye hai.
“Aay Allah Main Tere Liye Kal Ke Rozay Ki Niyat Karta Hu, Isko Qubul Farma”
How To Read The Sehri Niyat Without Ramadan?
Whether fasting in Ramadan or any other month, eating Sehri is a Sunnah. The time limit for eating Sehri is before dawn (Subh e Sadiq).

What Is the Roza Niyat For Rajab Or Shaban?
Rasoolullah ﷺ used to fast frequently in the months of Rajab and Shaban because leading to Ramadan.

Are These Authentic Duas From Hadith?
No, there’s no authentic Dua for Sehri in any hadith. So whether you’re keeping a Ramadan fast or a nafli fast in Rajab, Shaban, or any other month, you don’t have to read any specific Dua in Arabic.
Instead, you’re only required to make the intention of fasting for the sake of Allah in your heart. That is enough.
However, you can say the words we’ve mentioned in this article without considering them a Sunnah, if you want.
You can also say it in your own language.
There’s no compulsion here.
